The project at Warrington was carried out in 2 phases on a design and build basis for St George Healthcare. Phase 1 comprised a 24 bed medium secure facility with ensuite bedrooms, communal dining, main kitchens and laundry. The phase 2 building comprised a further 26 beds in addition to a gymnasium, snoozelen and office accommodation.

We employed Langton Associates as Lead Designer on the project and the combination of curtain walling, facework and cladding panels produced a very modern and attractive building.

Due to the nature of the ground encountered on site pre cast concrete driven piles were utilised and the phase 2 building incorporated an undercroft to accommodate any site flooding from the adjacent watercourse.

The project value was over £7.0m and was completed on target in a combined period of just 84 weeks.
