The project at Telford comprised the complete refurbishment of the existing hotel and the construction of a 2 storey 16 bed extension. The project was carried out on a traditional basis for Q Hotels.

This was undoubtedly the most complex project that Alaway have undertaken since our formation. Not only were we carrying out over £7m of work in just 38 weeks but the work was divided into 12 separate phases and the hotel had to continue trading throughout the construction period. It is testament to the skills and professionalism of everyone involved that the project was successfully completed and handed over on time, with very little disruption to the hotel during the construction period.

Special mention should go to the Lead Architects, RATCLIFF PARTNERSHIP and to the Interior Designers, LRW for the tremendous contribution they made to the success of the project.

During the course of the project 128 rooms, the main restaurant, function room, leisure facilities, pool hall, golf shop, main lounge, reception and golf bar were completely refurbished and a new 16 bed timber frame extension built in addition to the complete reconstruction of external car parking areas.
