Alaway Construction Limited was formed in 1994 by two construction professionals, Alan Boothby and Wayne Bullas, who both had considerable experience in the building and civil engineering industries with several national contractors. The company has successfully expanded over the last 14 years and now operates throughout the United Kingdom.

Over this period we have maintained a strategy of seeking profit and growth from highly efficient and totally reliable performance. Such performance has been achieved by recruiting, training and developing only the best available management technical and supervisory staff and by utilizing a nucleus of reliable and quality conscious tradesman and subcontractors. Our achievements to date are testimony to the success of this simple yet effective philosophy.

Over the last few years we have become renowned for specializing in elderly care, phychiatric care, hotel/leisure industries and we operate in most sectors of building construction. We are best placed and most capable of carrying out projects in the £2-£10m range and we can operate on a traditional or design and build basis. One of the major advantages we have as a Main Contractor is the facility to utilize the services of our in house Mechanical and Electrical company, Harkel Building Services. We have a very close working relationship with this company who are involved in all of our major projects and this ensures that this element of the construction process, which can often cause serious delays and issues on site, runs smoothly.

Over the next few years we are looking to consolidate our position as a leading contractor in the healthcare leisure and retail fields and we are committed to maintaining our reputation as one of the construction industries leading contractors.
